You might think that after a long 8 years in The White House, a first lady would just want some alone time with her family, but that is not the case with First Lady Michelle Obama.
The First Lady appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and when asked what’s something she wants to do with the year left in The White House, she answered she and President Obama want to focus on girls’ education.
She said “This is the kind of work Barack and I want to do long after we leave The White House.”
Then she spoke on what she wants to do after The White House, which includes simply opening a window and driving to Target.
The First Lady said that one time she was able to drive with the window open in the car for 5 minutes on her way to Camp David.
“One day as a treat, my lead agent let me have the windows open on the way to Camp David. It was like 5 minutes out and he was like ‘windows open…enjoy it.'”
