Tropical Storm Hermine is set to make landfall in the Big Bend area around 2 AM Friday morning, but rain and wind have canceled school activities around Central Florida. Here’s what we know so far…

Orange County- All OUTDOOR after-school activities have been canceled.

Volusia County- All after-school events and athletic activities have been canceled for today.

Seminole County- As of 8AM today, all activities are scheduled as planned with no cancellations.

Osceola County- They said they are closely monitoring, but there have been no cancellations as of 8AM today.

Lake County- All after-school activities have been canceled. (Dismissal time and ELC extended day services will not be affected.)

Polk County- All outdoor sports and  activities scheduled for today, including JV football, have been postponed.

Brevard County – It will be decided on school-by-school, but nothing has been cancelled as of 9AM.
