“Stitch’s Great Escape” At Disney’s Magic Kingdom Switching To “Seasonal Operation”

Everyone’s favorite (or least favorite) blue menace has called The Magic Kingdom home for roughly 10 years now, but that could soon be ending.

“Stitch’s Great Escape” is moving to “seasonal operation” aka when the public demands.

As of October 2nd the ride will begin this new operational schedule.

The ride has been the center of rumors lately suggesting that it could be shuttering for good to make way for a new attraction.

Stitch hasn’t been the only tenant in the Tomorrowland theatre, prior to Stitch, the space was occupied by ‘Alien’ which was seen as way to intense for the theme park and only operated for a short while.

No word on if the ride will close permanently or if something will take its place in the off times.
