Fun fact, I’m a pretty adventurous person. I love thrills like sky diving, and deep sea scuba diving. One thing in particular I love is wild animals and getting as close to them as I can!

A few years back I went scuba diving in the Sebastian Inlet and came across a bed of 12 sleeping nurse sharks. It DID scare me half to death, but I remember reading that they’re just bottom dwelling sharks, so I kept my distance just in case.

THIS GUY IS LIVING ONE OF MY DREAMS! Markus Murphy of Brevard County just happened to be swimming in the Sebastian Inlet this past Saturday, and came upon a WHALE SHARK! A WHALE SHARK!!!!!!

I’ve always wanted to go to an aquarium where you’re allowed to swim with them, but never in a million years did I think they were here off shore. By the way, don’t let it scare you too much. Whale sharks are pretty docile and harmless to humans. Of course, you should still be careful and keep some distance.
