3 years ago I was given the task to cook my very first turkey. So who did I turn to? Google. That’s right, mom wasn’t able to communicate with me so I did what I do best, research. I’ve been blessed with the rare talent of cooking things perfectly (knock on wood) each time I try out a recipe. But I can’t really be trusted with hot oil and open fire ha ha. So I’ve been baking the holiday turkey the same way each time since finding this. My mom never did it this way, and she’d probably tell me I’m crazy.  I cook my turkey upside down. It was the weirdest thing that came up on Google, but it made so much sense. If you cook it upside down, all of the juices go into the breast. Especially when it’s stuffed with fresh veggies instead of stuffing. I also add garlic to the inside to give it a little more.
