4 Stats And Superstitions About Friday The 13th

If you’re freaked out because today is Friday the 13th, you’re not alone. Lots of people are very superstitious and some won’t even leave the house today because they consider today bad luck. Here’s four stats about Friday the 13th and the superstitions that accompany the day…

1. 80% of us say we’re superstitious in some sort of way.

2. The most common superstition we have is wearing lucky socks. Behind that is knocking on wood, wearing lucky pants, having a lucky coin and crossing our fingers.

3. The top five moments when we’re the most superstitious are when we’re taking a test, buying a lotto ticket or gambling, during an important life moment like buying a house, when we’re looking for a new job and when it’s Friday the 13th or Halloween.

4. According to The Mirror, 5% of people say they plan on actually staying home today to reduce the chances of having bad luck.
