Growing up in Orlando, I got the privilege of going to Walt Disney World often.
My favorite ride was without a doubt, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. If you never got to experience this attraction, first of all, I’m sorry. It was amazing.
The Winnie The Pooh attraction overtook Mr Toad and the ride track is very similar in nature. Mr Toad’s Wild Ride definitely featured a “scarier” story than that of Winnie The Pooh, but essentially the premise is still the same.
Now that I’m older and more aware, I look for hidden “Easter eggs” in the theme parks or tributes to past attractions.
Something I never knew is that there is a tribute to Mr Toad! Any guesses as to where?
If you guessed Haunted Mansion, you’re correct! In the back of the “statue yard” area, you can see Mr Toad in his signature stance. What a nice way to give people like me a nod to our childhood!
