Taylor Swift has gone from all over the news, to completely off the grid.

She announced after her massive ‘1989 World Tour’ that she was taking a break and would be back when she felt the time was right.

She also broke her cycle of a new album every 2 years. We’re now almost 3 years since she released the hit, “Shake It Off.”

So when can we expect new music from Taylor?

Well, if you’ve been on her social media lately, you’ll notice that the only posting she’s done is to promote new music from her friends Lorde, HAIM, and Selena Gomez.

The last photo she posted was from her Super Saturday Night performance before the Super Bowl and that was back in February.

Earlier this year, Ed Sheeran dropped a hint that Taylor “could release an album around Christmas.”

Fans have been demanding new music from Taylor ever since last fall and they haven’t let up on the comments to her social media posts.

It’s also interesting to note she released her entire catalog on Spotify in June without any warning.

It could just be a coincidence, but it all seems very odd that the Queen of self-promotion and the expert on how to sell a million copies of your album in a week is ONLY promoting new music from her friends and posting nothing about her time away from the spotlight.

So is new music on the way? If you ask me…I’m going to say yes…and soon too. Fans are demanding it and so far this year, there hasn’t been an album that has broken records, which Taylor is known to do.

Until an official announcement though, I guess all we can do is jam out on Spotify to her past records and hope a new album will be released soon.
