Orlando International Airport has announced non-stop service from MCO to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport beginning in 2018.
Amsterdam becomes the 57th international non-stop route form Orlando and the 19th in the past 3 years alone.
“This is great news,” said Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “Service to Amsterdam will benefit the local community by generating an estimated $80 million in annual economic impact to Central Florida.”
“New service to a vibrant city like Amsterdam reinforces the international appeal of Central Florida to global travelers,” said Phil Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “It also provides connections to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.”
