If you were around in the early 2000s, then you know the cult-following of “The Devil Wears Prada” and how it turned Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep into fashion icons. (Sort of.)

Someone posted a scene on Twitter and this particular scene never made the final film for good reason.

The very ending of this exchange would have changed the entire persona of Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly from the hard-ass workaholic and given her a much softer appearance and explain why she was so hard at work.

This would have completely shattered Miranda’s hard exterior and explain so much about her, all the while really showcase the giving and “leap in and save the day” persona that Anne Hathaway’s character possessed.

Regardless, this scene would have changed the entire film and it’s obvious that’s why it was deleted.
