Hate to be that person to tell you this, but Black Friday is right around the corner. Is that when you do all of your Christmas shopping?

I remember, when my mom and I waited for the paper for Thanksgiving to check out ALL of the sales that start bright an early on Friday. In the recent years, it’s just become a bit ridiculous. Seriously who spends actual Thanksgiving Day shopping? You can’t even roll me out the front door after dinner.

But that’s what society has made it. Black Friday is really just a name and all the shopping starts on Thursday, ruining the spirit of family time.

Stores have already even started rolling out their Black Friday ads, for example Best Buy and Target.

Walmart is another store where people have just decided to wrap themselves around. My go to for early released ads is right here.

I swear I miss the days where we all had to pull up to a Sears at 2AM just so we can be the first at the door at 4AM for their sales. Then run and grab what we can. Making it a weekend or double day event is just too much for me. But hopefully people are nicer to each other this year.
