What is little Ralphie from “A Christmas Story” doing for work these days? How many full episodes of “The Simpson” has creator Matt Groening written? What is sadly off about “Weird Al” Yankovic’s parents?  All that and more with Adam’s Fun Facts:

1. Peter Billingsley (a.k.a. Ralphie from “A Christmas Story”) was an executive producer on “Iron Man”. (Mental Floss)

2. During the slave trade between 1525 and 1866, Brazil received at least 10 times more slaves from Africa than the U.S. In fact, only 4% of slaves went to the U.S. (The Root)

3. Both of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s parents died on the same day in 2004 from carbon monoxide poisoning. (Wikipedia)

4. Matt Groening has only written four episodes of “The Simpsons” and in three of those cases, he’s a co-writer.  The only episode where he’s the sole writer credited is from 1992, where Homer manages a country singer. (Wikipedia)

5. Alexander Hamilton misspelled the word “Pennsylvania” on the Constitution. He forgot one of the n’s in “Penn.” (National Archives)
