Dave Chappelle Releases New, Free Comedy Special '8:46'

Filmed last week in Ohio

]Dave Chappelle performed three socially-distant comedy shows in his hometown of Ohio over the last week.

Since then, Netflix has released a 27-minute special called "8:46" and you can watch it for free on YouTube:

The set sees Chappelle tackle topics like George Floyd, racism, Donald Trump, his past Netflix specials and more.

“It’s hard to figure out what to say about George Floyd, so I’m not going to say it yet,” he says flipping through a black notebook.

He later adds: “I got to tell you, this is like the first concert in North American since all this s— happened, so like it or not, it’s history. It’s going to be in the books.”

The special was filmed on June 6 post the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns. The audience was asked to practice social distancing guidelines. They also wore face masks and underwent temperature checks.
