Where did the AC/DC logo come from?  Why are humans the ONLY animals with chins?  Where in the world is the largest cast iron statue?  All that and more with Adam's Fun Facts!!

1.  The largest cast iron statue in the world is a statue of Vulcan, the Roman god of fire, in Birmingham, Alabama. It was made for the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, and it weighs 100,000 pounds. (Los Angeles Times)

2.  The reason humans are the only animals with a CHIN is cooking.  We figured out how to cook food to make it soft, so we evolved away from big teeth and strong jaws and developed chins. (The Independent)

3.  The TSA makes almost $1 million a year just from the loose change people leave behind at security. (CBS News)

4.  A cup of maple syrup has more calcium than a cup of milk although it would be awfully hard to drink a cup of syrup. (Sustainable Table)

5.  The AC/DC logo was based on the letters in the first book ever printed, the Gutenberg Bible.  The guy who created it was paid a one-time fee, never got any royalties and also did the logos for Pepsi and "Time" magazine. (BRW)
