Where did we get the word "shrapnel" from?  Who was the first actor to play James Bond, 8 years before the first movie?  What food uses the same wax as you use on your car?  All that and more with Adam's Fun Facts:

1.  Fruit snacks are covered in the same wax as cars.

2.  There was only one guy who survived the atomic bombings in both Hiroshima AND Nagasaki.  His name is Tsutomu Yamaguchi and he died in 2010, at age 93. 

3.  North Korea had its own time zone for three years.  From August of 2015 until May of last year, they were on "Pyongyang Time," which was a half hour behind South Korea.

4.  The first actor to play James Bond was an American.  Barry Nelson played him in an episode of a TV show called "Climax!" in 1954 . . . eight years before the first Bond movie.

5.  Shrapnel is named after Henry Shrapnel, a major general in the British Army.  In the late 1700s he invented an exploding shell with lead pellets inside.
