Adam's Fun Facts: Mail, Velociraptors, Olive Graden Bread Sticks & More!

5 Facts From Adam

October 24, 2018

How big and smart were the velociraptors in the movie "Jurassic Park" in real life?  How many times was mail delivered each day in the 1800's?  How many free breadsticks does Olive Garden serve up per person in America?  All that and more with Adam's Fun Facts:

1.  Olive Garden serves over 529 million free breadsticks a year, or an average of 1.6 for every American.

2.  In London in the 1800s, mail was delivered 12 times a day.

3.  Despite what the "Jurassic Park" movies say, velociraptors were only about three feet tall and 30 pounds.  There's also no evidence they hunted in packs, they were definitely too dumb to communicate, and they probably had feathers.

4.  There's a sacred island in Japan called Itsukushima where it's illegal to die.  No one has broken that law and died there since 1878.

5.  Amish people are not required to get Social Security numbers.
