Hurricane Dorian Forces Orlando Theme Parks To Alter Hours Of Operation

Altered hours for SeaWorld, Universal and Disney World.

With threatening weather conditions coming from Hurricane Dorian, Orlando's three major theme parks have all made alterations to their normal operating schedules.

Both SeaWorld and Aquatica will be closed Tuesday, September 3.

Walt Disney World has announced that Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will both be closing at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Animal Kingdom will open to guests at 8 a.m. and Hollywood Studios will be open at 9 a.m. Both will have Extra Magic Hours active early on Tuesday.

Disney After Hours for Animal Kingdom have been canceled Tuesday night and Disney is offering to make an exchange for either other events this year or for full refunds.

Magic Kingdom will be open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday. They will also have and it also has Extra Magic Hours early in the day.

Epcot will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Typhoon Lagoon will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday but Blizzard Beach will be closed.

Hours at Disney Springs on Tuesday will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness campground will be closing at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and will reopen after the storm.

As for Universal, Volcano Bay will be closed Tuesday but Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will open as scheduled at 9 a.m. and weather conditions will determine whether the closing times of both parks will be altered.
