We Need To Talk About The Food Options Now At Walt Disney World

New food offerings make Disney World a foodie paradise.

Gone are the days of burgers, chicken tenders, and pretzels as the only food options at Walt Disney World.

With the growing trend of food blogs, Instagram models, and millennials watching what's in their foods... the theme parks have begun to take notice and alter their food options to follow societal trends.

Take Epcot at Walt Disney World for example, the World Showcase has always been a place for international culinary options, but with the massive success of the International Food & Wine Festival, Epcot has added more festivals to incorporate culinary treats thoughout the year.

Wishing I was at the festival today instead of stressing about TWO interviews today -- what are you doing on this fine Monday?

Basically all year with the exception of a few weeks here or there, Epcot houses a "festival" of sorts and they all include unique culinary options that are Instagram worthy. Disney has caught on to the trend of photographing food as a form of advertisement.

Ah yes, the power of social media.

Epcot isn't the only park upping their culinary game, all of the Disney parks have begun to transform into a foodie's dream. (Within reason.)

Disney's Animal Kingdom has always had unique eating options based on the themed areas of the park. Asia houses the delicious Yak N Yeti restaurant featuring asian cuisine with a quick service restaurant offering similar dishes. Move over to the Africa area of the park and find foods from the countries that make of that continent.

Could go for a C O L D drink over this FREEZING weather❄️⠀ ⠀ I love hearing what everyone’s favorite beverages are! Give me something to look forward to tomorrow!

Disney's Hollywood Studios has opened a brewery in their Grand Avenue section of the park where guests can order a unique beer and bar small plate offerings, which, if any addition to the park would speak to millennial hipsters, it would be this one.

Perhaps the park with the most change has been the Magic Kingdom. Known for it's simplistic styles of Main Street USA and the "old days" of America, you'll often find rotating dessert options from Tinkerbell icecream, to Malifecent charcoal ice cream cones, and more.

Outside of the theme parks, Downtown Disney has morphed into Disney Springs... a foodie's paradise with culinary options for every pallette and the resort hotels have also gotten into the social media trends for food.

In the days of social media, people rating resturants left and right on apps like Yelp, the theme parks have caught on to what the younger generations are demanding and they're giving us the goods.

Don't worry though. You can still get chicken tenders and fries. But maybe after you'll get an ornate ice cream sundae or a park specific brew.
