SeaWorld Orlando has been busy beginning construction on what was previously dubbed "2020 roller coaster" and today, we officially have the name!

Welcome, Ice Breaker

The new coaster will sit near Wild Arctic in the park near Shamu stadium and feature 4 launches that launch riders backwards, forwards, backwards, and forwards again.

The backwards launches will eventually run up a 100-degree beyond-vertical spike and launch riders at a top speed of 52mph.

The minimum height requirement for the new coaster is 48-inches, making it perfect for younger riders as this is dubbed an "intermediate coaster."

This slots nicely in with SeaWorld's already impressive lineup of thrilling coasters such as Kraken, Manta, Mako, and Journey To Atlantis.
