SunRail Is Testing Out Late Night Train Service

So you better ride the train so they keep them coming.

I've said it before... and I'll say it again. SunRail NEEDS to operate late night and on the weekend.

I get that it's a commuter train service and is meant for working people to commute to and from their jobs downtown.

However, for thousands of Orlandoans, we don't work near a SunRail station and transfers from buses would take way more time. Therefore it's out of the question for commuting purposes.

That's not to say we don't WANT to ride the train, I'd love to take SunRail, but it doesn't operate when I go downtown... after work and on the weekends.

SunRail has added a southbound train for late night service that will leave Church Street Station. There currently is a northbound train that leaves Church Street at the time of the new southbound train, with both trains leaving Church Street station downtown around 10:30pm.

The southbound service will be tested on the following HOME games for the Orlando Magic: November 2, 5, 7, 9, 14, and 20.

So if you want to see more late night train service for southbound stations (IE: Sand Lake, Poinciana, Kissimmee, Meadow Woods, etc) then ride the train! A train ticket will probably cost less than parking downtown and tolls. Just saying.
