Pigs In A Blanket


  • 2 (8 oz.) SE Grocers refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 (14 oz.) cocktail-size smoked sausage or hot dogs
  1. 1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Unroll both cans of dough and separate into 16 triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
  4. Place sausage on shortest side of each triangle.
  5. Roll up each starting at shortest side of triangle rolling to opposite point.
  6. Place point side down on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, switching the position of cookie sheet halfway through baking.
  8. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
  9. Serve warm with favorite dipping sauces.

Sweet and Sour Beef Meatballs


  • 2 lb. plain frozen meatballs
  • 10 oz. SE Grocers Concord grape jelly
  • 2 cups SE Grocers barbeque sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  1. In a small bowl, combine jelly, barbeque sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.
  2. Add meatballs and sauce to a slow cooker.
  3. Cook on medium for about 2 hours or until meatballs are heated to 165F.

The Best BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger


  • 24 oz. 80% Ground Chuck
  • 8 ea. Hickory Sweet Fully-Cooked Bacon Slices
  • 4 ea. SE Grocers Sharp Cheddar Natural Cheese Slices
  • 4 tbs. Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbs. Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tbs. Salt
  • 4 ea. Brioche Buns
  • 2 tbs. Soft Butter
  1. Divide ground chuck into (4) 6 oz. patties; refrigerate. 
  2. Heat grill to medium-high heat. 
  3. Butter cut-sides of brioche buns with soft butter. 
  4. Place buns on tin foil butter-side down, then place on grill and warm until toasted; remove from heat and set aside. 
  5. Season burgers on both sides with salt and pepper, then place on grill and cook over medium-heat for 4-6 minutes each side, or until internal temperature registers 165 degrees on a meat thermometer. 
  6. Place 1 tbs. of BBQ sauce on each patty, followed by two slices of bacon in a crisscross pattern, and then a slice of cheese. Then, close the grill lid, turn off the heat and let rest for 5 minutes until cheese is melted. 
  7. Place one slice of lettuce, onion and tomato on the bottom of each bun, followed by the burger and the rest of the bun. 
  8. Enjoy!

Grilled Summeripe Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream


  • 2 Summeripe Yellow Peaches
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  1. Cut Summeripe yellow peaches in half and remove the pit
  2. Make the peach "cups" by using a melon baller to remove enough peach flesh to fit a scoop of ice cream, we usually take 3-4 spoonfuls.
  3. Heat a grill to medium-high or 350 degrees
  4. Brush or drizzle "rim" of the peach cups with olive oil to prevent the peaches from sticking to grill
  5. Place Summeripe Peach cups directly onto heat, flesh side down
  6. Grill until grill lines are visible and the peaches are fork-tender, about 4-7 minutes
  7. Remove from grill and let cool for a few minutes
  8. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream into the center of the Summeripe Peach Cup and enjoy!

Strawberry S'mores

  • 4 large marshmallows
  • 4 SE Grocers Graham Crackers (4 squares)
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
  • 2 fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
  1. Roast marshmallows until lightly browned and melted inside
  2. Place a warmed marshmallow on top of each graham cracker, drizzle melted dark chocolate on top of each layer
  3. Stack each layer on top of the other
  4. Top with fresh strawberries, serve warm
