An Online Calculator To Make Sure Your Beer Or Wine Is Chilled Perfectly

This is brilliant!

Here's something that could come in handy when you're watching the Bucs game tonight and you don't have any cold beer! There's a physicist in Poland who's getting his masters in particle physics and he built an online calculator that tells you exactly how long it'll take to chill your booze!

According to Delish, it's called the Chilled Drink Calculator and he based it on Newton's Law of Cooling.  So yes, it actually involves Science and it's pretty accurate.  Just enter these five things to get the ideal temperature and cooling time:

1.  The type of booze you're chilling, like beer, wine, or liquor.

2.  The type of container it's in, like glass or an aluminum can.

3.  Where you've been storing it, like if it's been at room temperature or sitting in your hot garage.

4.  How you're chilling it: In the fridge, freezer, or on ice.

5.  How cold you want to get it.  (It lists optimal temperatures for different drinks.)

Once you enter that info, it calculates a number for you.  For example, if you put a warm can of Coors Light in the fridge, it'll take 40 minutes to hit an ideal temperature of 43 degrees.  Or if it's a bottle of Dom, 2 hours and 24 minutes to hit 48 degrees. It also works for water, juice, and soda.
