June 12th: A Day Of Remembrance

Events happening around our city to remember the 49 angels.

It was 3 years ago that 49 innocent lives were taken at the Pulse Nightclub here in Orlando. There are several events taking place throughout the City of Orlando to honor the 49 angels. It's "Orlando United Day -A Day of Love and Kindness." 

- At 9:00 AM on mix 105.1, we will take a moment of silence on-air to remember the 49 angels.


-At 12 Noon, you can hear the Ringing of the Bells at First United Methodist Church on East Jackson Street in downtown Orlando. According to News 6, they will toll 49 times, one time for each angel who lost their life 3 years ago.


- At 7PM on 6/12, the 2019 Annual Remembrance Ceremony will take place at the Pulse Interim Memorial. Speakers include Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demmings, OnePULSE Foundation CEO Barbara Poma and more. You can get all the information on the ceremony here.
