Ever Wonder How Long To Hold Onto Your Make Up?

I've got all the answers... right here!

Posting an article about make up gave me the idea of a question many people might have! I mean, I'm pretty new to make up. Kids and teens on YouTube are better than me. So I know I'm not alone.

Growing up in the 90's/00's , contouring and stuff wasn't really a thing. But I figured i'd start out small, and buy decent make up and also learn on how long we should actually keep it.

According to WebMD, here is the amount of time you should keep your makeup for. I'm guilty with overkeeping all of mine. Time to start fresh!

Mascara & liquid eyeliner: Every time you put the wand back into the tube, you’re letting in bacteria. Replace every 3 to 4 months.

Liquid foundation: Stored away from heat, foundation can remain stable for up to a year. Don't use your fingers (GUILTY).

Lip gloss & lipstick: These are less likely than liquid-based makeup to grow bacteria. You can keep them for at least 6 months, and the lipstick for a year.

Powders: WebMD actually mentioned smelling your powders LOL... if they smell funky you should probably toss.... BUT, you can safely use powder-based products for 18 months to 2 years.

Now you know when to toss!
