All Diet Bets Are Off Now, Pizza Is Healthier Than Cereal!

OK So now that I think about it, and I rarely ever make sense... hear me out.

Cereal isn't something I was brought up on.... in Poland we did deli meats and cheeses,hot tea and poridge, maybe some sausages, and toast with butter. Infact, when my mom went to make me some cereal as a child, she added HOT MILK, instead of cold. She just had no idea, and it was still delicious.

But according to Delish, PIZZA is healthier than cereal! So first thing I think of is, ok- there's lots of sugar in cereal, but then it's like... wait pizza has so much grease from cheese....

According to New York-based nutritionist Chelsey Amer, "a cheesy, greasy, carb-filled slice is better for you than your favorite breakfast cereal." Amer continues... "You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories," Amer told the site. "However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning."

And per my childhood breakfasts... meat, cheese, bread= most important meal of the day.

So when I wake up in the morning and stuff my face with cold slices of pizza, that doesn't mean i'm hung over, it means I'm subconsciously being healthy. I'M A WINNER!

Listen, my logic never makes sense. I'm like 'oh no i can't have cereal,I'm lactose intolerant'. meanwhile, I'm totally OKAY to have 3 slices of extra cheese pizza. 

But thanks to this study, I feel like patting myself on the back.
