Jay Edwards is an Orlando boy and proud to call Central Florida his home! He has lived in Seminole County since the age of 2 and attended school at Lake Brantley High School, Seminole Community College, and then graduated with a Radio/TV degree from UCF. Jay started at Mix 105.1 in 1997 working part-time weekends and overnights, which led to him becoming the Producer of the Scott and Erica Show in 2000. Jay is married to his high school sweetheart Stacie and they are both the proud parents of Caleb and Kiley. They have a Chihuahua named Chimi and still live locally right here in Longwood. What’s Jay do when he’s not on the radio? “I’ve coached kids all over Central Florida for the last 20+ years, plus I love being on the lake and hanging on the boat.” Jay has also been the backup PA announcer for the Orlando Magic for 10+ years and he’s DJ’d over 1700 weddings locally! A few things on Jay’s bucket list are doing a triathlon, trying stand-up comedy and writing a children’s book.
